New Books for High School English ClassesJune 9, 2023
3 Scholarships were presented at the 2018 graduation ceremony by the Foundation. These scholarships were privately funded by their sponsors.
Ayiana Marquez received the Ristow / Ziegenhorn Scholarship which was created to honor the ancestors of these 2 families who have lived in this community for over a hundred years. It is presented to a student with the ideals of citizenship and character with the hope they will carry on this legacy into the future.
Travis Kaeb received the Illinois Grain & Seed Equipment Scholarship. This local business sells and services grain and seed handling equipment. Understanding that agriculture plays a large part in the lives of our community, Illinois Grain & Seed’s provides a scholarship to a student who is pursuing a career in agricultural.
Olivia Stoller received the Carl Berg Memorial Scholarship. Carl was a 2010 graduate of Cissna Park High School and in his memory, a scholarship is presented to a graduate who is continuing their education at a Jr College or Trade School.
