Tresa Maul’s 3rd grade is now using ‘Smart Board’ technology in their room thanks to a fall grant from the Education Foundation. “The 3rd grade class at Cissna Park school can reap the benefits of a smart board as a learning tool for all subjects” Tresa commented. “There is a wide range of valuable lessons and instructional guides that we use daily”

With a Smart Board, the students can interact through touch to reinforce and practice the skills learned in the classroom. “The bright, colorful screen is easy to see and I can utilize all of my computer programs and downloads from any where in the room” Tresa said.  Tresa also wanted to thank anyone who donates to the Foundation as it helps our children in our community grow and learn in a positive, energetic environment.
