The elementary teachers are grateful to be teaming up with the Education Foundation to fill our new “Book Room” at Cissna Park School. The teachers received funds to use toward sets of books that can be used with small groups of kids. The books we were able to purchase are a variety of reading levels and topics, to accommodate our diverse groups of kids in each classroom. 

“With a central location to house our sets of books, teachers can easily access these books and match them to the right readers,” said Tresa Maul, reading specialist. “It’s exciting to be able to supply our kids with a variety of books from popular authors to keep them engaged and excited about reading.”
