Mrs. Denault and her second grade class recently purchased two mini IPads and covers thanks to a Education Foundation Mini Grant.

During the classroom literacy block, students have the opportunity to read and listen to stories, and strengthen their language skills. Certain apps on the IPads offer individualized support for each child. This can be book recommendations and leveled books. Students are also able to strengthen phonics skills using apps related to word games.

“We use our IPads again during our math block” Mrs. Denault commented. “Fact games and partner games are a big hit with strengthening our knowledge and fluency with math facts”.
