Mrs. Samantha Kidwell’s 3rd grade class will get to explore their love of reading with new book sets, thanks to the Cissna Park Education Foundation. Mrs. Kidwell was able to purchase 13 book sets. Each set contained 6 books, which totals to 78 new books! With these new book sets, Mrs. Kidwell cannot wait to implement book clubs for years to come.

“Book clubs are a great way to facilitate conversation among students,” said Kidwell. “Not only that, but it fosters a love of reading that may not be attained by conventional teaching methods.”
