Kindergarten Students are Learning Without Tears

The Cissna Park Education Foundation awarded a grant to Mrs. Redeker’s Kindergarten classroom. The
Kindergarten students work on developing and mastering their letter formation during the year. The
students work each day utilizing Learning Without Tears curriculum to understand letter formation and
proper development.

The Education Foundation supported their learning through the purchase of the
Interactive Teaching Tool software. The Education Foundation purchased a one-year license to provide
an interactive way for students to visually understand letter development and writing. The Interactive Teaching Tool allows the classroom to utilize the Smart Board technology hand in hand with their
workbooks. The software provides videos, songs, and visual representation of handwriting.

“The students have shown a better understanding and awareness of the importance of handwriting,” said Redeker. “The software has brought handwriting to life for my Kindergarten students!”
